LOOK | Strengthening Ties: PNPAAAI Visits Region 4B-MIMAROPA Chapter

On November 15, 2024, the PNPAAAI led by Chairperson Lakan Gilberto DC. Cruz ’86, visited the PRO MIMAROPA Lakan Chapter. The delegation, joined by Pola Mayor Jennifer Mindanao-Cruz, was warmly welcomed by Regional Director Lakan Roger L. Quesada ’92 and the PRO MIMAROPA Lakan community.

The visit began with a foyer honors ceremony for Lakan Cruz, followed by the Putong ceremony—a cherished Marinduque tradition celebrating guests with honor and warmth. Afterward, a breakfast meeting and courtesy call with the Regional Director set the stage for fruitful discussions.

In the afternoon, the MIMAROPA Lakan Chapter General Assembly took place at the Log House Restaurant, Bar & Lodging in Pola, Mindoro. The gathering was a platform for sharing updates on chapter activities, with PNPAAAI General Manager Ronachris A. Enabe emphasizing the benefits of membership. The assemlby also featured a dynamic Q&A session where many Lakans actively particpated.

The event also celebrated the achievements of MIMAROPA Lakans, with PNPAAAI awarding cash incentives to outstanding members, while the PRO MIMAROPA Chapter extending financial assistance to individual Lakans. Inspiring messages were shared by Chairperson Cruz, Regional Director Quesada, and Mayor Mindanao-Cruz, reflecting the unity and shared purpose of the association.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a memento to Chairperson Cruz and the formal turnover of chapter funds. This milestone event underscored the camaraderie, meaningful exchanges, and the warm hospitality of the MIMAROPA Chapter and Pola City leadership.
