1. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

1.1. Regular Members in good standing* may avail Medical Financial Assistance Equivalent to 30% of their total medical bills but not to exceed TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND (PHP25,000.00) PESOS. For medical cases of lingering type such as those undergoing dialysis, chemotherapy, and similar diseases, the financial assistance may be increased by TEN THOUSAND (PHP10,000.00) PESOS, subject to the recommendation of the Chairman of the Morale and Welfare Committee and approval of the Board. Provided that the claimant shall submit to the Committee the following supporting documents 

1.1.1. Basic Letter Request

1.1.2. Endorsement from the Class President

1.1.3. Photocopy of Medical Certificate

1.1.4. Photocopy of Statement of Accounts

1.1.5. Summary of Clinical Records

1.1.6. Investigation Report and/or Line of Duty Report, if the claimant's illness is due to accident or in line of duty/status;

1.2. Medical Assistance must be claimed within a period of six months from hospitalization, confinement or medical consultation or treatment. Failure to avail herein assistance within the prescribed period shall render the same forfeited.

2. LEGAL ASSISTANCE

2.1. Regular Members in good standing may avail Legal Assistance as herein below indicated. Provided that the claimant appears to be a victim of harassment, tramped-up charges, or other machination designed to make him an escapegoat. Provided further, that the claimant was not arrested in flagrante delicto: 

2.1.1. Light Felony

2.1.2. Less Grave

2.1.3. Grave Felony

2.2. The assistance may be increased depending on the nature of the case subject to the recommendation of the Chairman of the Morale and Welfare Committee and Board’s approval. Provided finally, that the claimant shall submit the following supporting documents

*Shall refer to members who must meet the following criteria:

a. Updated in payment of membership dues and the assessments, except the retired members.

b. Diligent in attendance in required meetings.

c. Diligent in performance of duties and responsibilities.

d. Not under suspension or serving penalty.

e. Not under investigation for dereliction of duties and responsibilities.

c. Criminal complaint/information duly authenticated by the Court where the case was filed;

3. EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE

3.1. Regular Members in good standing may avail Educational Assistance of FIFTEEN THOUSAND (PHP15,000.00) PESOS based on the following:

3.1.1. Participation in the Masters in National Security Administration (MNSA) at NDCP

3.1.2. Bar Examination

3.1.3. Participation in any masteral program at Asian Institute of Management (AIM)

3.2. The grant of the assistance is subject to the recommendation of the Chairman of Morale and Welfare Committee and Board’s approval. Provided, that the claimant shall submit the following documents:

3.2.1. Basic Letter Request

3.2.2. Endorsement from the Class President

3.2.3. Photocopy of Identification Card from the school/institution where enrolled;

3.2.4. Photocopy of Statement of Accounts

3.2.5. Letter Order/Foreign Travel Authority

4. DEATH/BURIAL ASSISTANCE

4.1. Regular Members in good standing who died shall be given financial assistance amounting to ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND (PHP100,000.00) PESOS, PLUS BURIAL SERVICES FROM THE ST. PETER LIFE PLAN, INC. The benefits shall be given to their legal beneficiaries, provided, that the following documents shall be submitted

4.1.1. Photocopy and/or Facsimile of Death Certificate

4.1.2. Photocopy and/or Facsimile of Certification of Legal Beneficiaries

4.2. In the case of deceased PNPAAAI MEMBERS who were separated and/or dismissed from the service and had their monthly dues withdrawn, such members can still avail assistance in the amount of not more than TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND (PHP25,000.00) PESOS,  for humanitarian consideration. Provided, that the members concerned have not committed disloyalty to the Association and their next of kin has complied the requirements in 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 hereof;

5. MISCELLANEOUS ASSISTANCE

5.1. PNPAAAI members who were separated from the service for any cause, may claim their total contribution which shall be returned to them upon demand with corresponding interest based on the prevailing bank interest rate;

5.2. Immediate family members (wife, husband and children) of alumni who are reported kidnapped, abducted, or missing shall be given financial assistance in the amount of TWENTY THOUSAND (Php 20,000.00) PESOS upon presentation of the official report concerning the event.
