CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

Regular

graduates of BSPS Cadetship Program of PNPA

Adopted

citizens of the Philippines or foreign states

Honorary

prominent personalities & benefactors of PNPA, former Directors of PNPA, & other deserving persons as the BOT will consider

Associate

members of the PNPA Faculty Corps

Institutional

juridical entities & establishments that advocate the best interest of public safety & public service

1. Regular Members

Regular Members are automatically admitted as regular members of the Association effective upon their graduation and oath taking.

Requirements:

  • Accomplished Information Sheet
  • One-membership Fee amounting to ₱1,000.00

2. Adopted Members

Adopted Members shall be endorsed in writing by a class organization. The endorsement shall be submitted together with the nominee’s Letter of Intent to be adopted and curriculum vitae to the Membership Committee for evaluation, subject to approval by the majority of the Board of Trustees. 

Qualifications:

  • An exemplary and distinguished professional standing that can contribute immensely to the attainment of the Association’s objectives.
  • Acceptance will undoubtedly bring honor and prestige to the Association.
  • Must not have been convicted by final judgment for offenses involving moral turpitude or offenses punishable by imprisonment for more than one (1) year;
  • At least 21 years of age, male or female;
  • If one is a commissioned officer, his/her rank must not be lower than the rank of the majority of the members of the adopting class;
  • Any person or public officer holding a position lower than Salary Grade 22 must be of the age bracket of regular members or older than the oldest member or at the very least only three (3) years younger than the youngest member of the adopting class. However, if a nominee is a public officer holding a position with Salary Grade 22 and above, the aforementioned age requirement is waived.

  • Board Resolution
  • One-membership Fee amounting to ₱1,000.00

3. Honorary Members

Honorary Members must be persons of known probity and prominence in the community or society or who have served as PNPA Superintendents/Directors, who can contribute to the accomplishment of the overall goal and objectives of the Association. The nominees shall submit a curriculum vitae for processing and formal acceptance by the Board of Trustees.

4. Associate Members

Members of the PNPA faculty who can qualify for associate membership shall be recommended by the Dean of Academics and endorsed by the PNPA Director to the Board of Trustees.

5. Institutional Members

The Board of Trustees shall exercise the prerogative in the admission of institutional members.

MEMBERS' RIGHTS and

PRIVILEGES

Members shall enjoy the following rights and privileges:

  • Exercise the right to vote.*
  • Eligible to any elective office.*
  • Avail of the facilities of the Association.
  • Receive such welfare benefits and privileges and assistance as authorized under the rules and regulations to be prescribed by the Board of Trustees.
  • Participate in activities of the Association, except those specifically restricted by this Corporate By-laws and resolutions of the Board of Trustees.
  • Examine the financial records or books of accounts of the Association during business hours.*
  • Be issued a Certificate of Membership and ID.
  • Enjoy other rights and privileges allowed under the Corporation Code for similar organizations.

* Adopted, Honorary, Associate, and Institutional members are not entitled to these provisions.

DUES

Reference to PNPAAAI By-laws Article XII Section 3 Membership Dues stating all members shall pay month dues of Php100.00.

The amount was revised through the Board Resolution No.15 Series of 2019 Announcing the Increase of Regular Membership Dues from P200 to P500 as Adopted by General Assembly in its Special Meeting on March 7, 2019.
