THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE ACADEMY

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED

The official policy of the Association is to be a democratic institution, organized as a non-stock fraternal corporation, devoid of political partisanship, sectarian or subversive affiliation, and guided by the vision to serve God, people, country and flag.

HISTORY

The Philippine National Police Academy Alumni Association was incorporated and registered with the Security and Exchange Commission with Registration No. 63928 on May 25, 1989 but came to life only on June 1991.

The Association’s core members are mostly graduates of Bachelor of Science in Public Safety (BSPS) / Cadetship Program of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) in Camp Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang, Cavite.

Today, the association has gone beyond the realm of its objectives and purposes. It continuously stands to support its members, and this prestigious institution holds a significant role in the professionalization of the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and Bureau of Fire Protection.

The PNPAAAI’s primary purpose is to abide and uphold the Philippine Constitution, to contribute in the development and welfare of the nation and the government, and lastly, to maintain the highest standard of service proficiency, professionalism, discipline, morale, and spirit of the corps in the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Membership Committee

This committee conducts preliminary inquiry on membership applications and make necessary recommendations before they will be acted upon by the Board.

Finance Committee

The committee is responsible for the general supervision over the Finances and properties of the Corporation.

Morale and Welfare Committee

Chairman, Morale and Welfare Committee

The committee that formulates incentive programs to boost the morale and welfare of the members, enhance their benefits and privileges, and such other similar programs for the best interest of the members and their dependents.

Public Relations Committee

Chairman, Public relations Committee

The committee is responsible for the formulation and coordination of the Corporations, public relations program, and all other matters and strategies relating to the image marketing of the Corporation.

Alumni Homecoming Committee

Chairman, Alumni Homecoming Committee

This committee is responsible for the overall planning and coordination of the general program of the activities of the Annual Alumni Homecoming in cooperation with other concerned corporate committees, host classes, and the PNPA authorities.

Election Committee

This committee is the one responsible for the BOT Elections and the preparation related to it.

Training and Education Committee

Chairman, Training and Education Committee

This committee coordinates with the PNPA and the public safety bureaus in the formulation and transformation of the BSPS degree, including the observance of the cadet honor code and honor system, aptitude for the service, and the customs and traditions of the academy, to ensure the development of the officer corps of the public safety services, and organize seminars, workshops, and symposia to promote professionalism, management and leadership qualities, and skills of the officers corps.

Awards Committee

This committee formulates the criteria, subject to approval of the Board, for corporate awards in recognition of exceptionally acts or deeds of the Alumni in their fields of assignment of endeavor or profession, including non-Alumni members and other individuals and entities for their meritorious support and encouragement extended to the Association, and recommend such awards to the Board for approval.

Ways and Means Committee

LAKAN GILBERTO DC. CRUZ
Chairman, Ways and Means Committee

This committee is responsible for funds sourcing which will accrue to the overall financial assets of the corporation, and formulate fund-raising plan and programs to be implemented by the corporation in order to support certain projects and activities for the benefit of the members and their beneficiaries.

Ethics Committee

Chairman, Ethics Committee

This committee closely monitors the observance of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, and investigate on ethics cases and make the necessary recommendations to the Board for appropriate action against violations of the code.
