This will provide answers about membership dues, deduction breakdown, settlement of unpaid dues, and stoppage of membership dues.
Answer: In contrast of MGS is Members Not in Good Standing (MNGS), the term “member in good standing” shall refer to members who meet the following criteria below (provided under Article VI Section 5 of the Constitution and By Laws):
Answer: The Association monitors the deductions based on the collection list/alpha list submitted to the PNPAAAI Office by the Finance Service of the Tri-bureaus.
Answer: Every time the Association receives the collection list, the PNPAAAI Finance Department updates the individual index card of the Alumni Member. This is the document which is the basis for the Association to determine whether a member is in good standing or not.
Answer: Most of the time the deduction is being stopped due to the insufficient fund. If the personnel/ member have incurred multiple loans, PNPAAAI deduction is least in priority in the Finance Service deduction system, particularly PNP. The Finance Service will remove the deduction of the PNPA Alumni to accommodate the deduction of other financial institutions or entity (e.g. AFPSLAI, PSSLAI, AFPMBAI) the sort of giant players.
Answer: Oftentimes, based on the cases the Association encountered, it is due to the multiple loans in different financial institution or entities.

Answer: The Association will inform (via email or letter) the concerned Class Presidents and then the Class President is responsible to inform his/her class member/s who is/ were MNGS status because of stoppage of deduction or non-payment of membership dues.
Answer: Yes, reference to PNPAAAI By-laws Article XII Section 3 Membership Dues stating all members shall pay month dues of ₱100.00. The amount was revised through the Board Resolution No.15 Series of 2019 Announcing the Increase of Regular Membership Dues from ₱200.00 to ₱500.00 as Adopted by General Assembly in its Special Meeting on March 7, 2019.
It was then further clarified through the Board Resolution No. 22 Series of 2019 to delineate the intended distribution therefor and for other purpose which the Third Whereas stated that the Board has deemed it wise to propose the following distribution list of the ₱500.00 membership dues for the general assembly’s consideration:
Answer: If a member wishes to terminate/stop his/her monthly deduction, he/she shall do the following process:
Step 1: Member shall inform the Class President/Class Officers that he/she wants to terminate his/her monthly dues as well as his/her membership to the Association;
Step 2: Request should emanate from the Class, signed by the Class President;
Step 3: A pro forma should be filled in by the member who wish to terminate his monthly dues, stated therein the amount and the reason;
Step 4: Submit to the Finance Department of the Association. The Finance Department should take action of the request within 10 working days and present recommendations to the Board;
Please be informed that without the approval of the Board, termination of the monthly dues shall not be processed. If in case the request is approved, termination of monthly dues means termination of his/her membership to the Association, thus, he/she will be deprived of the benefits and privileges offered by the Association.
Answer: The Association will write a letter to the concerned Class Presidents. It is the responsibility of the Class President to inform his/her class member who maybe an MNGS status. The letter has an attached Index Card of the said member on MNGS status. A letter will also be sent to a member educating and informing him/her on how he/she can settle his/her contribution on membership dues to the Association.
