After organizing a Writeshop of the Study Committee Members and the lobbying activities in Congress and Senate, the meeting with the Senior Lakan is the next step forward of the Association in its effort to strengthen the PNPA Charter through legislation. The program includes update on the house bill filed related to PNPA Reform and Modernization Bill which was discussed by LAKAN NICOLAS S SALVADOR, Chief of Legislative Affairs, Directorate for Plans and expression of support of Lakan Congressmen namely Hon. Celso G. Regencia of PNPA Class 1987 and Hon. Jorge Antonio “Patrol” Bustos of PNPA Class 1996.With the theme “Isang Mithiin, Isang Diwa, Tungo sa Makabagong Akademya”, LAKAN CRUZ wrapped up the program thru his guidance encouraging the Senior Lakan to be united in supporting this PNPA Reform and Modernization Bill as well as inspiring the junior lakan to do the same for no voice is too soft when it is spoken unitedly especially if it is for the good of all and particularly for the good of the Academy.
