LOOK | The Philippine National Police Academy Alumni Association Inc. led by LAKAN GILBERTO DC CRUZ, Chairperson together with LAKAN BYRON T TABERNILLA, PRO and LAKAN JOAQUIN R ALVA, Legal Officer, paid a courtesy visit to MR. KARLO ALEXEI B. NOGRALES, Chairperson of the Civil Service Commission on May 31, 2023 at CSC Main Office, Batasan Pambansa Complex, Constitutional Hills, Diliman, Quezon City.

The PNPAAAI has taken up the proposed bill relative to the Modernization of PNPA and the Strengthening of the PNPA Charter. The Association solicited the support of the CSC Commissioner making PNPA cadets to be categorized as a government employee making the cadets entitled to receive benefits such as medical, pay, allowances, and other gratuities same as a government employee.

Moreover, the PNPAAAI and the CSC discussed other topics concerning the development of the police academy, policy that affects the alumni members and the career progression and development of the members of the alumni association. Chairperson Nograles also directed his staff to revisit the Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other HR Actions (ORAOHRA) re matters brought up by the PNPAAAI.
