Camp Crame, Quezon City — As part of this year’s activities, The Philippine National Police Academy Alumni Association Incorporated (PNPAAAI) —collectively known as LAKANs — on Thursday hosted a Testimonial Dinner for PGEN Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar coinciding with the Recognition of Oustanding Alumni in both administrative, operational fields in the DILG’s Tri-Bureau and as Honorary Members of the different classes.

The event also saw the attendance of The Deputy Chief PNP for Administration, The Deputy Chief PNP for Operations, The Chief of the Directorial Staff, the National Headquarters Directorial Staff, current star-ranked Lakans and the Command Group PNPA led by the Director, PMGEN Rhoderick Armamento.

Among those recognized for their invaluable service to their Alma Mater are our very own Deputy Director, PBGEN Prexy D Tanggawohn, Chief of Staff/Executive Officer PBGEN Jack L Wanky, Chief GSSD, PCOL Ruel D Berango and several others more.
 
PNPAAAI Chairman PBGEN William S Macavinta (Ret) saw this opportunity to thank the Chief, PNP for his untiring support to the association’s projects and programs. He likewise recognized Gen Eleazar’s leadership as one that characterizes the premier public safety learning institution’s cardinal virtues of Justice, Integrity and Service.
 
In his keynote speech, the Chief thanked the association for the accorded testimonial and acknowledged the very significant roles that the Lakans play in the realization of the PNP’s Mission and Vision. “I have personally experienced, from the time that I was a field Commander in then RSAF-4, up until now that I was given the rare opportunity to serve and lead our organization, the camarederie and fellowship that the Lakans share which proved to be beneficial in our pursuit of promoting the common good of all,” he remarked.
