LOOK | PNPAAAI Visits Western Visayas Chapter
On August 2, 2024, Region 6 Lakans witnessed a notable regional chapter visitation led by Lakan Arnold P. Ardiente ’95, President, PNPAAAI. Concurrently serving as the Dean of Academics, Lakan Ardiente spearheaded the PNPA contingent facilitating the PNPACAT (Philippine National Police Academy College Admission Test) in the region.
The day’s activities commenced with a courtesy call to Lakan Jack L. Wanky ’92 and other key officials of PRO6. This visit allowed Lakan Ardiente and the PNPA and PNPAAAI teams to engage with seniors lakans and chapter officers to strengthen collaborative relationships.
In the afternoon, a significant groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of the new Lakan Building inside the PRO6 camp. This milestone event marks a substantial investment in the region’s infrastructure, supporting the continued growth and development of the chapter.
The evening brought together chapter members for a vibrant fellowship. During the event, Lakan Ardiente provided updates on the Association’s progress, turned over the Chapter fund, and engaged with attendees during an insightful Open Forum. This forum allowed members to address their concerns and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the association and the chapter’s future.
Concluding the evening, Lakan Ardiente read a message from Lakan Gilberto DC. Cruz, Chairperson, PNPAAAI. The message emphasized three key themes: the importance of unity within the chapter, the value of mentorship in guiding future leaders, and the significance of gratitude, particularly in giving back to the PNPA. These principles underscore the commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring that the values of the Academy continue to inspire and guide our Alumni members.
